The Three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m Currently Reading…
The 52nd by Dela
„Fear gets you killed. It waxes over your instincts and paralyzes your decision-making abilities, maing you inefficient and useless, leaving you for dead.“
I like the first line of this book (I even highlighted it) and i think it’s still early for me to say that I love the writing style but I do. Also, I’ve read the words immortality, sacrifices and fear. Sounds interesting, right?
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
„Mercy… too much and they call you weak, too little and you’re mosntrous.“
Yes, I’m still reading this book and currently on page 738 so I still have 231 left. I’ll try my best to finish this book tonight so I can focus on The 52nd. I’ve stopped watching the tv series and I probably will continue when my husband returns.
I Recently Read…
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
“Push yourself. Don’t Settle. Just live well. Just LIVE.”
I finished reading this book 4 days ago (the day before Valentine’s Day) and like what I’ve said on my review, I haven’t moved on yet. This is definitely one of my favorite tear-jerker books. Relatable characters, great storyline and though-provoking. Check out my review here. It’s a perfect five for me.
My next read would be…
I’ve decided to participate on a readathon called #5Books7Days hosted by Lotte on Instagram. It will start next week, Feb 22nd, and will end on the 28th. You just have to try to read 5 books in 7 days. I joined last time and ended up reading just 3 books so I’m really hoping this time I’ll be able to read 5. Here are two of the books that I’m planning to read next week.
The Ocean At The End of The Lane by Neil Gaiman
My first Neil Gaiman book. My husband gave this to as a surprise gift. I’ve been hearing so many great things about this author and his works. This would be my first read from him and I’m excited.
Even The Moon Has Scars by Steph Campbell
This book has been sitting on my shelf for a long time now. I think I bought it around 3 years ago and up until now I haven’t got any ideas what the story is all about. I know that this is a YA/Contemporary book. That’s all. I bought this because of the cover.
Feel free to share your WWW below. Have a great week. ♥
The Ocean at the End of the Lane was my first Neil Gaiman book too! It’s so odd, brilliant, and difficult to describe. I will definitely read more of his books in future. I hope you enjoy it.
Here’s my WWW post: https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2016/02/17/www-wednesday-17th-february-2016/
I’m such a Neil Gaiman fan and it shames me to admit that I still have not read The Ocean at the End of the Lane, but I haven’t. I keep seeing The 52nd everywhere and it looks so interesting that I know I’ll be buying it soon. Also, that cover for Even the Moon Has Scars is GORGEOUS.
The 52nd sounds like a great read! I loved The Ocean At The End Of The Lane myself and it’s my second favorite Gaiman after Neverwhere. And eeing A Clash Of Kings mentioned really reminded me I should pick up the fifth book before the sixth season starts…
