WINK POPPY MIDNIGHT
BY APRIL GENEVIEVE TUCHOLKE
Expected Publication: March 22, 2016
Edition: Hardcover (352 pages)
Publisher: Dial Books
Every story needs a hero.
Every story needs a villain.
Every story needs a secret.Wink is the odd, mysterious neighbor girl, wild red hair and freckles. Poppy is the blond bully and the beautiful, manipulative high school queen bee. Midnight is the sweet, uncertain boy caught between them. Wink. Poppy. Midnight. Two girls. One boy. Three voices that burst onto the page in short, sharp, bewitching chapters, and spiral swiftly and inexorably toward something terrible or tricky or tremendous.
What really happened?
Someone knows.
Someone is lying.
Why Am I Waiting For This?
I first saw this on Goodreads and it caught my attention. I haven’t read any of April Genevieve Tucholke’s books so I’m not sure if i would love this one. The synopsis is intriguing and the cover is lovely. I’ve read an exclusive excerpt online and it made me want to read more.

I love the cover of this one, so eye-catching. I would totally read it just based on the cover alone :p

WINK POPPY MIDNIGHT sounds so intriguing! I love a summary that leaves most of the plot a mystery, it really heightens the experience of reading it 🙂
Ooh, this one is actually on my TBR, and I was planning my next WoW post for this! 😀 I’ve read a short story by this author in Slasher Girls & Monster Boys, so I’m pretty sure this one would be awesome! Great pick- obviously!
Check out my first ever WoW post here 🙂
