Hi guys! I cannot believe that it’s June already. Where did the last 5 months go? 2017 needs to slow down a little. Anyway, I’m here to share my most anticipated summer book releases. It’s still not officially summer here in Germany but we’re already having sunny (freaking hot) days. Sorry but I’m not a fan of summer season even though I came from a tropical country.

Anyway, summer starts from June 21 to September 22 so I’ve decided to include the books that will be released from June to September. There are so many new releases but these are the ones I personally like and plan on reading. This is quite a long post so let’s get started.

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab | June 13

I’m so excited about this book even though I have yet to read This Savage Song.

A Different Blue by Amy Harmon | June 27

Blue Echohawk doesn’t know who she is. She doesn’t know her real name or when she was born. Abandoned at two and raised by a drifter, she didn’t attend school until she was ten years old. At nineteen, when most kids her age are attending college or moving on with life, she is just a senior in high school. With no mother, no father, no faith, and no future, Blue Echohawk is a difficult student, to say the least. Tough, hard, and overtly sexy, she is the complete opposite of the young British teacher who decides he is up for the challenge, and takes the troublemaker under his wing.

Amy Harmon became my one of my all-time favorite authors right after reading Making Faces in February. So far, I read two of her books (Making Face and From Sand and Ash) and they’re both amazing. Her style of writing is incredible as well as the plot and characters. I owe my angel Angel so much for introducing me to Harmon’s books.

Unsub (Unsub #1) by Meg Gardiner | June 27

I was lucky to get an advance ecopy of this book and I’m currenty reading it. It’s a pyschological thriller inspired by the Zodiac Killer. I’m still not far in to the story (20% done) but there are already a lot of thrilling scenes.

Until It Fades by K.A. Tucker | June 27

Godsgrave (The Nevernight Chronicle #2) by Jay Kristoff | September 5

I still have to read Nevernight but I can’t help not so get so much excited about Godsgrave.

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera | September 5

On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they’re both looking to make a new friend on their End Day.

The good news: There’s an app for that. It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.

I haven’t read any books of Adam Silvera but I’ve been hearing great things about them so hopefully, I’ll be able to read at least one of his books this year.

 

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins | September 12

One-by-one, the students of Osborne High are dying in a series of gruesome murders, each with increasing and grotesque flair. As the terror grows closer and the hunt intensifies for the killer, the dark secrets among them must finally be confronted.

Stephanie Perkins is one of my auto-buy author and I was quite thrilled when I read her tweet („it’s in the vein of classic, sleazy slasher films“) about her new book. Yes, she’s the author of Anna and the Fench Kiss series and yes, I am so excited to read this book.

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng | September 12
