Friday Finds : Slasher Girls & Monster Boys by April Genevieve Tucholke

FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased). Hosted by teh awesome Jenn of A Daily Rhythm.

It’s Friday again and I’m here to share my Finday Finds for this week.

by April Genevieve Tucholke

Edition: Hardcover (400 pages)
Publisher: Dial Books (August 2015)

A host of the sharpest young adult authors come together in this collection of terrifying tales and psychological thrillers. Each story draws from a mix of literature, film, television, or even music to offer something new and fresh and unsettling. Even better? After you’ve teased out each tale’s references, satisfy your curiosity at the end, where the inspiration is revealed. There are no superficial scares here. These are stories that will make you think even as they keep you on the edge of your seat. From bloody horror, to the supernatural, to unnerving, all-too-possible realism, this collection has something for anyone looking for an absolute thrill.

I love terrifying tales and thrillers so I think this book is perfect for me. Also, I haven’t read any books from these authors so I think this is a good start.

Feel free to share your Friday Finds. Happy Friday!
