THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE
by Shirley Jackson
Edition : Paperback (246 pages)
Publisher : Penguin Books (October 2009)
First Published : 1959

Hill House stood abandoned, six miles off the road. Four people came to learn its secrets – Dr Montague, an occult scholar; Luke, a spendthrift heir; Theodora, escaping a love affair; and Eleanor, who is lonely and vulnerable – to the house.

It’s my first Shirley Jackson. I’ve been seeing this book for a while and I’m hearing good things about it. I got curious so I ordered it two days ago and it came today in the morning. I love the cover of this book and I’m excited to read it.

Friday Finds is hosted by the awesome Jenn of Books and a Beat. It showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… Whether you found them online, or in a  bookstore, or in the library – wherever! (They aren’t necessarily booky you purchased)
