Hey guys! It’s time to reveal my remaining highly anticipated book releases for 2018! I only listed 11 books so don’t worry, this will not take long. Also, you can check the first half of my list here.

The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager | July 3

Why? When Final Girls came out last year, the author’s identity was unknown (Riley Sager is also a pseudonym) so I was a little surprised when I learned that Riley is a man. I also know his real name now. YI totally enjoyed Final Girls and you can check out my full review here.

Annex by Rich Larson | July 24

I Am Still Alive by Kate Marshall | July 24

#Murdertrending by Gretchen McNeil | August 7

Why? Set in the near future where citizens can watch criminals execution? That’s really intriguing.

City of Ghost by Victoria Schwab | August 28

Cassidy Blake’s parents are The Inspectres, a (somewhat inept) ghost-hunting team. But Cass herself can REALLY see ghosts. In fact, her best friend, Jacob, just happens to be one.

When The Inspectres head to ultra-haunted Edinburgh, Scotland, for their new TV show, Cass—and Jacob—come along. In Scotland, Cass is surrounded by ghosts, not all of them friendly. Then she meets Lara, a girl who can also see the dead. But Lara tells Cassidy that as an In-betweener, their job is to send ghosts permanently beyond the Veil. Cass isn’t sure about her new mission, but she does know the sinister Red Raven haunting the city doesn’t belong in her world. Cassidy’s powers will draw her into an epic fight that stretches through the worlds of the living and the dead, in order to save herself. (via Goodreads)

Why? It’s Victoria Schwab! I’ll read everything she writes even her grocery list.

Sadie by Courtney Summers | September 4

A missing girl on a journey of revenge and a Serial-like podcast following the clues she’s left behind. 

Sadie hasn’t had an easy life. Growing up on her own, she’s been raising her sister Mattie in an isolated small town, trying her best to provide a normal life and keep their heads above water.

He starts his own podcast as he tracks Sadie’s journey, trying to figure out what happened, hoping to find her before it’s too late.

Courtney Summers has written the breakout book of her career. Sadie is propulsive and harrowing and will keep you riveted until the last page. (via Goodreads)

Why? The book description sounds really interesting.

Wildcard by Marie Lu | September 18

Why? Warcross was one of my most favorite reads last year. Emika is such a great character and honestly, I don’t care about Hideo anymore. You can read my full review of Warcross here.

Vengeful by V.E. Schwab | September 25

The sequel to VICIOUS, V.E. Schwab’s first adult novel.

Sydney once had Serena—beloved sister, betrayed enemy, powerful ally. But now she is alone, except for her thrice-dead dog, Dol, and then there’s Victor, who thinks Sydney doesn’t know about his most recent act of vengeance.

Victor himself is under the radar these days—being buried and re-animated can strike concern even if one has superhuman powers. But despite his own worries, his anger remains.

Why? I know I haven’t read Vicious yet but nothing can stop me from this excitement.

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera | October 9

Why? Becky Albertalli is one of my auto-buy authors. I just love her.

A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi | October 16

It’s 2002, a year after 9/11. It’s an extremely turbulent time politically, but especially so for someone like Shirin, a sixteen-year-old Muslim girl who’s tired of being stereotyped.

Shirin is never surprised by how horrible people can be. She’s tired of the rude stares, the degrading comments—even the physical violence—she endures as a result of her race, her religion, and the hijab she wears every day. So she’s built up protective walls and refuses to let anyone close enough to hurt her. Instead, she drowns her frustrations in music and spends her afternoons break-dancing with her brother.

But then she meets Ocean James. He’s the first person in forever who really seems to want to get to know Shirin. It terrifies her—they seem to come from two irreconcilable worlds—and Shirin has had her guard up for so long that she’s not sure she’ll ever be able to let it down. (via Goodreads)

Why? I just learned about this book last week and after reading the book description, I decided to add it on my tbr list.

The Reckoning of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin | November 13

Why? Noah Elliot Simon Shaw! I still haven’t read The Becoming of Noah Shaw but i’m still excited for this second book.
